About the Course

The ISC Open Water Diver certification is the best way to begin your lifelong adventure as a certified open water diver. Personalized training combined with in-water practice sessions ensures you have all the skills and experience required for success.  


By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive with local dive centers or travel to more exotic locations.

Scuba diving can be surprisingly intricate and it's best taught by someone who knows what they're doing. Your highly skilled ISC instructor will guide you through each and every step.

Training Prerequisites

To be eligible for in-water training, a swim fitness assessment must be passed. This test is to determine your comfort level in the water and includes:

  1. Swim fitness assessment
  2. Tread water
Medical Requirements

You must be medically fit to dive. When you enrol in a course, you will complete the medical screening form, determining if written approval from a doctor is required.

Training Instruction

This course can only be taught by a skilled active ISC Open Water instructor or higher.
